Tee Higgins is an American professional football wide receiver who plays for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL. Born on January 18, 1999, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 219 pounds. Higgins played college football at Clemson University, where he was part of the team that won the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship. He was selected by the Bengals in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 33rd overall pick.
In his professional career, Higgins has developed into one of the NFL’s top young receivers. In the 2024 season, he recorded 73 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns, ranking sixth in the league for receiving touchdowns.
Despite missing five games due to injuries, Higgins’ performance highlighted his importance to the Bengals’ offense.
On March 16, 2025, Higgins agreed to a four-year, $115 million contract extension with the Bengals, with the first two years guaranteed. This deal positions him among the top five highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
This extension ensures that Higgins will continue to be a key component of the Bengals’ receiving corps alongside Ja’Marr Chase, who signed a four-year, $161 million extension, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
