Tevin Farmer is an American professional boxer born on July 30, 1990, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known by his nickname “American Idol,” he has competed in both the super featherweight and lightweight divisions. Standing 5 feet 6 inches tall with a reach of 67 inches, Farmer fights in a southpaw stance.

Throughout his career, Farmer has amassed a professional record of 33 wins, 7 losses, and 1 draw, with 8 knockouts. He gained prominence after capturing the IBF super featherweight title in 2018 by defeating Billy Dib. He successfully defended this title multiple times before losing it to Joseph Diaz Jr. in January 2020.

On March 29, 2025, Farmer faced William Zepeda in a highly anticipated rematch. The bout took place in Cancun, Mexico, under the Golden Boy promotion and was streamed on DAZN. Zepeda secured a majority decision victory in an entertaining fight.
