travis homer

Travis Homer, born on August 7, 1998, in West Palm Beach, Florida, is an American football running back currently playing for the Chicago Bears in the NFL. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 202 pounds. Homer attended Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, where he amassed over 3,200 rushing yards and 50 total touchdowns in his high school career.

He went on to play college football at the University of Miami, where he earned Second-team All-ACC honors in 2017.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Homer was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round (204th overall). He played four seasons with the Seahawks, contributing both as a running back and on special teams. Notably, in the 2021 season, he returned an onside kick for a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars and scored a 73-yard touchdown on a fake punt against the San Francisco 49ers.

In March 2023, Homer signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears. Over the past two seasons, he has appeared in 26 games, primarily contributing on special teams with 13 tackles. On March 17, 2025, Homer re-signed with the Bears on a one-year, $2 million deal.
