Early Life and Education
Holloman attended Cretin-Derham Hall High School in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In his senior year, he averaged 18.8 points, 10.4 assists, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.3 steals per game. His outstanding performance earned him the 2021 Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year award, making him the first player from his high school to receive this honor. He was also named the Minneapolis Star-Tribune Metro Player of the Year. Holloman was rated as a four-star recruit and chose to play college basketball for Michigan State over offers from several other schools.
College Career
As a freshman at Michigan State, Holloman played in 34 games, averaging 8.6 minutes and 1.3 points per game. He made his first collegiate start on November 19, 2023, scoring 17 points, along with five assists and two steals, in a victory against Alcorn State. During the 2023-24 season, he averaged 5.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. In a notable performance on November 27, 2024, Holloman scored 19 points in an upset win over North Carolina. He achieved a career-high 20 points in a game against Michigan on March 9, 2025, contributing significantly to his team’s 79-62 victory.
