Tre Isiah Jones (born January 8, 2000, in Apple Valley, Minnesota) is an American professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA.
Early Life and Education
Jones attended Apple Valley High School in Minnesota, where he was a standout player. He led his team to two Minnesota 4A state championships in 2015 and 2017, earning honors such as Minnesota Mr. Basketball and a McDonald’s All-American selection in 2018.
He played two seasons at Duke University, where he was named both the ACC Player of the Year and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.
Professional Career
Jones was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the 41st overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Over his four seasons with the Spurs, he averaged 8.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. In February 2025, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls as part of a three-team deal that also involved the Sacramento Kings.

Since joining the Bulls, Jones has been instrumental in several fourth-quarter comebacks, contributing significantly to the team’s success. In a recent game, he achieved his first double-double with the Bulls, recording 10 points and 10 assists.
