The Troy Trojans men’s basketball team represents Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Competing in NCAA Division I as part of the Sun Belt Conference, the team plays its home games at Trojan Arena, which has a seating capacity of 6,000.
In the 2024–2025 season, the Trojans secured a 23–10 overall record and clinched the Sun Belt Conference championship. This victory earned them an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, marking their first appearance since 2017.
As a 14-seed in the Midwest Region, Troy faced the 3-seed Kentucky Wildcats in the opening round on March 21, 2025, at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. This matchup was a significant milestone for the program, as they sought their first NCAA Tournament win since transitioning to Division I in the 1993–94 season.
Key player Tayton Conerway led the team, averaging 14.3 points, 4.8 assists, and 2.9 steals per game during the season.
