tsitsipas

Stefanos Tsitsipas is a Greek professional tennis player, born on August 12, 1998, in Athens. He has achieved significant milestones in his career, including reaching the finals of both the 2021 French Open and the 2023 Australian Open, establishing himself as one of the top players in men’s tennis.

In March 2025, Tsitsipas demonstrated his resilience and adaptability by winning the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. This victory came after he made notable changes, including ending his coaching partnership with his father, Apostolos Tsitsipas, and switching to a new racket designed for better control. He defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-3 in the final, marking his first ATP 500 title.

At the Indian Wells tournament in March 2025, Tsitsipas continued his strong performance by reaching the quarterfinals. He secured a victory over Matteo Berrettini and was set to face Holger Rune in the next round.

Tsitsipas is known for his aggressive baseline play, one-handed backhand, and all-court game. He has expressed a particular affinity for grass courts, with Wimbledon being his favorite tournament.

Off the court, Tsitsipas has been in a relationship with Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa since April 2023.
