Tyler Johnson is an American football wide receiver currently playing for the New York Jets in the NFL. Born on August 25, 1998, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Johnson stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 208 pounds. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, where he earned First-team All-Big Ten honors in 2018 and 2019.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, Johnson was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round with the 161st overall pick. During his rookie season, he recorded 12 receptions for 169 yards and two touchdowns. He was part of the Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Johnson’s NFL career included stints with the Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (again), Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Rams. In 2024, playing for the Rams, he appeared in 15 regular-season games, registering 26 receptions for 291 yards and one touchdown.
