The UAB Blazers men’s basketball team has had an impressive run in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) tournament. On March 15, they secured a 66-56 victory over North Texas in the semifinals, with senior forward Yaxel Lendeborg contributing 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Earlier in the tournament, UAB defeated East Carolina 94-77 in the quarterfinals, where Lendeborg led with a remarkable 30-point performance.
As of March 16, UAB holds a 22-11 overall record and a 15-5 conference record.
They are scheduled to face the Memphis Tigers in the AAC championship game today at 3:15 p.m. ET (2:15 p.m. CT) on ESPN.
