The Utah Hockey Club is a professional ice hockey team based in Salt Lake City, competing in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference. Established in April 2024, the team began its inaugural season in the 2024–25 NHL season.

Team Identity and Branding

In June 2024, the team unveiled its official name, logo, and colors. The “Utah Hockey Club” name was chosen following a fan vote that considered various options. The primary logo features a roundel with a “Utah” wordmark at the center, encircled by “Hockey Club” and colored in mountain blue, rock black, and salt white. The inaugural season jerseys included a black home uniform with a diagonal “UTAH” wordmark and a white road uniform with black and blue striping.

Recent Performance

As of March 13, 2025, the Utah Hockey Club secured a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks, with Dylan Guenther contributing a goal and an assist. This win keeps Utah in contention for a Western Conference wild-card spot.

Home Arena

The team plays its home games at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, sharing the venue with the NBA’s Utah Jazz.
