The Vegas Golden Knights are a professional ice hockey team based in Paradise, Nevada, competing in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference. Established in 2017, they are the first major sports franchise to represent Las Vegas. The team plays its home games at T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip.

In their inaugural season (2017–18), the Golden Knights made an impressive run to the Stanley Cup Finals, setting a record for the most playoff wins by an expansion team. They clinched their first Stanley Cup championship in the 2022–23 season, defeating the Florida Panthers in five games.

As of March 25, 2025, the Golden Knights lead the Pacific Division with a record of 42 wins, 20 losses, and 8 overtime losses. Their most recent game on March 24 resulted in a 4-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, with Tomas Hertl scoring his 31st goal of the season. ​
