Virginia Giuffre, formerly known as Virginia Roberts, is an American-Australian advocate for victims of sex trafficking. Born on August 9, 1983, in Sacramento, California, she became a prominent figure due to her allegations against financier Jeffrey Epstein and his associates, including Prince Andrew.
In the early 2000s, Giuffre was recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell to work for Epstein, leading to her being trafficked to various powerful individuals. She has publicly detailed these experiences, which contributed to legal actions and increased public awareness about Epstein’s activities.
In February 2022, Giuffre reached a settlement with Prince Andrew, who agreed to pay an undisclosed sum and make a substantial donation to her charity, Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR). Prince Andrew has consistently denied the allegations.
On March 31, 2025, Giuffre revealed she had been involved in a severe accident with a school bus in Australia, resulting in kidney failure. She expressed a desire to see her children one last time, as doctors have given her only days to live.
