Zach Top is an American country music singer-songwriter known for his ’90s throwback sound. Born on September 26, 1997, in Sunnyside, Washington, he began his musical journey performing bluegrass with his siblings in the band Top String. In 2015, he moved to Boulder, Colorado, to study mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder but left after a year to pursue a career in music.

In 2024, Zach released his debut studio album, Cold Beer & Country Music, under the independent label Leo33. The album features singles like “Sounds Like the Radio” and “I Never Lie,” both of which received positive reviews and charted on Billboard’s Country Airplay and Hot 100.

On March 11, 2025, Zach made his debut at the Houston Rodeo, delivering a performance that embraced a pure, nostalgic ’90s country sound. His set included lively tunes like “Sounds Like the Radio,” “Beer for Breakfast,” “Lonely for Long,” and “Dirt Turns to Gold,” drawing comparisons to artists like George Strait and Randy Travis.
